    Introduction

In moments of crisis, where do we turn? The story of Exodus 15:25 teaches us the power of calling upon God in times of need. As the Israelites journeyed through the wilderness, they encountered bitter waters at Marah, a seemingly insurmountable obstacle. Yet, through divine intervention, these waters were transformed. How does this ancient miracle speak into our modern lives? Let’s explore.

    Historical Context

This verse is situated within the book of Exodus, traditionally attributed to Moses. It takes place shortly after the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt and crossing of the Red Sea. At Marah, faced with undrinkable water, their faith is tested, and God reveals Himself as a provider.
