    The Verse

King James Version (KJV): And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.

New International Version (NIV): The room facing north is for the priests who guard the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, who are the only Levites who may draw near to the LORD to minister before him.

English Standard Version (ESV): And the chamber that faces north is for the priests who have charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, who alone of the sons of Levi may come near to the LORD to minister to him.
